Following the recent release of his self-titled record with Groundswell Music/Warner, Carleton Stone is taking his infectious pop/rock tracks on the road this November, playing for audiences across six of ten Canadian provinces. Stone will be pairing up with veteran Tom Wilson and The Heartbroken on most of these dates.
Carleton Stone is quickly gaining a reputation for his hook-laden songwriting and his charismatic and soulful live sets. It's no surprise that after getting his music to JUNO award-winning artist Hawksley Workman in 2010 that the two joined forces. Workman produced Stone's self-titled album and co-wrote on the track "Million Dollar Heart". Songs on the album stand out with a perfect blend of pop, rock, and alt-country that supports Stone's impeccable songwriting.
Stone's 2009 debut album, Carleton Stone Drives The Big Wheel, was independently released and garnered an East Coast Music Award nomination (Rock Recording of The Year) plus two nominations from Music Nova Scotia (New Artist/Ground Recording & Pop/Rock Artist/Group Recording.)
