Black Numbers To Release Grey Area / Go Rydell Split 7"

Black Numbers are stoked to announce the first recordings from legendary NYC pop punk veterans Grey Area in over ten years! Various members have had a part in Token Entry, Kill Your Idols, Warzone and Black Train Jack amongst others. After last releasing "Fanbelt Algebra" on Victory in 2000, Grey Area did successful reunions this past summer in Philly and NYC and then were surprise guests for last summer's This is Hardcore Fest. Grey Area will be headlining Generic Insight Radio Fest and then heading over to Belgium for one show at Groezrock Festival.
Joining them on this split 7" (limited to 500 - 100 clear, 150 red, 250 blue) will be Florida's Go Rydell, who are following up their highly-acclaimed debut LP "The Golden Age" on Black Numbers. Go Rydell recently made the cut for AP's 100 Bands You Need To Know in 2011. Mixing heartfelt lyrics with short bursts of punk rock fury to create a fun, positive atmosphere, Go Rydell's dynamic take on melodic hardcore is ripe with conviction and a palpable sincerity. With a raw injection of energy and enthusiasm, Go Rydell push beyond its influences with supreme confidence.
