Canadian Music Week is proud to present a musical showcase and to honour a music legend from the LGBTTIQQ2SA community.
Circle your calendars on March 9th for the Queer Showcase, being held in the North Ballroom at the Gladstone Hotel. The showcase is one of several events taking place during Canadian Music Fest (March 9-13 in Toronto), a part of Canada Music Week. Join the party for the sounds and talents of Gentleman Reg, Creature, Rouge, Chris Velan and Kevin Wong.

Check out Friday, March 11th as David Marsden ( - one of Canada’s first true Rock-n-Roll deejays, is inducted into the Canadian Music and Broadcast Industry Hall of Fame. Marsden will be receiving the prestigious Allan Waters Broadcast Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding works in broadcasting, taking place during the Canadian Radio Music Awards at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel.
Also, Saturday, March 12th,The Union & Canadian Music Fest proudly present MEN at Sneaky Dees. The debut album Talk About Body is the new project from Le Tigre's JD Samson, cult icon and leader in the LGBT community. MEN is a Brooklyn-based band and art/performance collective where JD is joined by Ladybug Transistorʼs Michael O'Neill and Ginger Brooks Takahashi.
